While attending Winnie Nwagi's concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval on September 9, Namakula who has a daughter with Kenzo was asked to comment on her relationship with the Tweyagale hitmaker and if she'll be attending the festival. She mentioned that she has deep respect for Kenzo because aside from being a nice gentleman and a good father, she entirely respects him. She therefore made it a point to urge Ugandans to show up in plenty and support Daddy Aamal.
"I respect him so much as a father. On the day of the concert, even if I do not come, I ask everyone to attend and support him,” she said.
In an earlier interview when Kenzo was asked if he had invited her, he said she was surely invited if she wanted to come. He mentioned that he had no bad blood with her and she was free to attend as long as she wanted to.
Singer Eddy Kenzo also recently came out and confessed that he is not surprised that his baby mama and ex lover Rema Namakula endorsed his upcoming festival even when they did split up and she got hitched to Dr. Ssebunya Hamza. He mentioned that she did endorse him because despite breaking up with her, he has always been so good to her.
Kenzo mentioned that he has never hurled insults at Rema and neither has he raised a finger to slap her or even treat her like garbage. He mentioned that even when they were together, they never even had a major misunderstanding that could have hurt her so bad and therefore there is no reason for her to act cold with him.
"I don't have a problem. I'm a very easy guy. I don't abuse, I have never beaten her. For all the time we were together, she can testify that we never had a major misunderstanding. So, if she remembers how good we were together, she has no reason to have ill feelings. I have no problem," Kenzo said while speaking on Spark TV.
For the record, the Eddy Kenzo Festival will be held on November 12 at Kololo Airstrip in Kampala.
