Famous Model and former media personality Bettina Tiana fired at wife to Jose Chameleone Daniella At?m, saying she has lost all respect for her as a human being. This came after the model took to her Instagram page, mentioning that she wants to go abroad, to Europe for shopping. Well, Netizen’s being Netizen’s commented on her post and some even came out to criticize her for shopping abroad when Uganda has markets, cheap ones at that.
One of her followers however responded rudely by urging her to opt for local markets like Owino, on grounds that there is a lot of discrimination in the European countries hence she will feel uncomfortable. He went ahead to mention that people of a higher status than her are discriminated abroad so for her who has a dark behind, it will be worse.
“Dear, don’t bother to go abroad because there is a lot of discrimination so you won’t be at peace. If they manage to discriminate against women who have given birth for the royal family, then what about you who has a dark backside?” the comment read
Bad news sure does travel fastest as the comment caught many people’s attention, including Daniella Atim who sarcastically shared the screenshot to her Instagram account, accompanied by a comment revealing that Uganda is not for the faint-hearted because Netizen’s are rough everywhere.
However, Daniella’s actions didn’t seat well with Bettinah who refused to swallow this and took to her socials to express her disappointment. The model revealed that the respect she had for Daniella had gone drain before noting that reposting the comment was uncalled for and not funny at all. She mentioned that she expected Daniella as a fellow African woman to condemn such words but she instead was humored, something she could not understand
“I expected you to condemn such behavior, the fact that it humors you to the extent of posting for your followers to laugh baffles me. Being black ain’t a crime.” Bettinah Tianah posted.
