It seemed like the fire that started between musician A Pass and Lil Pazo is not about to die down any time soon.
Whereas one is advocating for gate keeping and asking music lovers to stop listening to hillbilly music and focus on the good music that is being released in the music industry, the other is just finding every opportunity to promote his recently released hillbilly song.
A Pass clearly stated that Ugandans are out here supporting un educative and nonsensical music instead of putting their attention on timeless and knowledgeable music. Well, for Lil Pazo, all this does not matter as he is out here living his best life while promoting his Enkudi song.
According to Lil Pazo, he does not really mind anyone who is out there producing their own music but apparently, he believes that Ugandans are not looking for educative and constructive music right now. Lil Pazo believes that Ugandans are only listening to music to have fun, not to learn life lessons.
Lil Pazo stated that in Uganda, if you act all serious and wise, no one will even bother hearing you out. During an interview with NBS Television's Tuff B, Lil Pazo stated that Ugandans are all about fun now and even if an artiste come out with new music, they can always choose to ignore it and go with something they find entertaining.
“In Uganda today, it is not about what we feed music lovers but rather it is about what music lovers want to hear. Music lovers decide on their own. If they want to listen to music which you consider unserious, they will listen to it. In Uganda, if you come out acting very serious and wise, Ugandans will show you that they are not looking for seriousness.” He stated
Lil Pazo further stated that the Ugandan music industry changed quite a lot over the years because currently, everyone is a super star and it does not require too much to turn into one. He stated that ghetto youths have completely changed the narrative and they have brought themselves onto equal levels with the big name artistes.
“When it comes to fame, everyone is a superstar now. Ghetto youths have already changed the movie scenes when it comes to music. Every one is a superstar and we have to accept this. We are all on the same level and we are all getting heard. If you want to act wise, people will ignore you. That is simply what they want to do. “ stated Lil Pazo
