Mubarak Munyagwa has come out to say that the happenings at the burial of the late legislator were disrespectful but the biggest form of disrespect was seeing people drinking alcohol at his vigil knowing full well that he was a Muslim man rooted in the religion.

The burial of the late Kawempe North legislator Muhammad  Ssegirinya has left so many hearts heavy with most individuals, majorly politics stake holders coming out to complain, stating that so many things about this burial were not done right according to tradition and morals.

The burial, according to certain people seems to have been held based more on emotions of the National Unity Platform party rather than everything else that should have been considered important.

Many have come out to condem the acts of the NUP Party together with the NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine stating that the burial turned out more political and chaotic rather than decent and peaceful like the late Muhammad Ssegirinya  deserved.

In general, the NUP party has argued that this is the kind of send off the late Ssegirinya had always desired. They argue that he would have tossed in his grave had he been handed over to the same traitors that were allegedly behind his demise.

It has been a few days since Ssegirinya  was laid to rest but the kind of chaos that was displayed at his send off is still on the mouths of very many people as it was described as something out of the ordinary.

His fellow legislator Kawempe South Member of Parliament Honourable Mubarak Munyagwa has come out to say that the happenings at the burial of the late legislator were disrespectful but the biggest form of disrespect was seeing people drinking alcohol at his vigil knowing full well that he was a Muslim man rooted in the religion.

"People were drinking alcohol at his vigil, even though he was a Muslim. This was quite inappropriate. If you knew he was rooted in the Islam religion, why would you behave that way?"  said Honourable Munyagwa.

He further questioned NUP Members whether these kinds of acts are what the late legislator would have wanted to be done as his last respects.

Honourable Mubarak was quick to state that he cares not for the clap backs he will get for pointing this out but it was something he needed to get off his chest.

He clearly mentioned that what the NUP party foot soldiers were so wrong for this act and it was so horrendous.

Munyagwa then went further to urge NUP members to learn the value of respect, not only for individuals but for all the beliefs that certain individuals believe in.

In your own view, what do you think about this?
