"My dresscode inspires A plus size women into loving their bodies." Winnie Nwagi

Winnie Nwagi surely has become unstoppable. Ever heard of the saying "when the world gives you lemons, make lemonade"? That is exactly what Nwagi is doing. Nwagi has always been criticised about her dresscode, for the longest time ever but every time she appears on stage, she is always in a skimpy attire, jumping around the stage without any fear of criticism.

Nwagi has also come out to say that everyone should stop advising her about her dresscode because no one should be concerned with the way she dresses herself up. Nwagi, who was speaking to journalists, said parents who don't like how she dresses should sit down with their daughters and advise them against consuming her content. She mentioned that fans should stop approaching them and advising them as if they are their relatives 

"Don't scare us. there are those who threaten you; someone comes and talks to you like they are your aunt. No. We know our aunts, they are at home. Don't come at us with excitement," she said.

She hinted that she also has a daughter she is raising and it is nothing new yo raise a child. She mentioned that it is parents that are meant to tame their kids and stop them from consuming what is not good for them.

"Let them talk to their children. If you see your daughter on my page and you don't want her there, take the phone from her. Take her back to school to study. I also have a child, and I'm free to dance in front of her when I wish."

According to the songstress, she knows many plus-size women who have been inspired by her lifestyle. She mentioned that for a long time now, plus size women have felt restricted from wearing certain clothes because society has made them believe those clothes are not meant for them, something which os not true. Nwagi says very many A plus size women have met her and told her she has inspired them into trying new outfits and loving their bodies.

"If you feel like big people shouldn't wear what I put on,... personally, as Winnie Nwagi, I inspire the big women. before there are clothes big girls couldn't wear, but because of me, they meet me and tell me, because of you I can do this, that means I inspire people, so no one can stop me. Fans should love us the way we are. We thank them, but there is when they exceed their limits. Let's respect atistes," she said.
