Singer Kalifah Aganaga has recently opened up and waged war on Sheebah Karungi over not crediting him for the songs he has written for her. Some of these songs, he said, included Nakyuka, Bailamosi, Nabaleka and Nkwata Bulungi.
The issue arose when Sheeba Karungi held not one but two very successful concerts and she did not recall to invite Aganaga to perform even as an extra, something that itched him in a very unpleasant way so he chose to retaliate.
Aganaga must have felt wronged because during the time Sheebah was going through hardships for example when she got misunderstandings with her handler Jeff Kiwa and decided to quit Team No Sleep for a solo career, he stood by her side not only as a fellow artist but as a friend.
Aganaga said through his music label named Bad character records, he had an agreement with Sheebah that she should include his brand’s logo in her music videos as a form of giving him credit for the songs he had written for her. However, she allegedly never did this.
This is something that has angered Kalifah. He has now vowed never to write for her music anymore. He mentioned that it was very evil of her to do such a thing to him and he was wondering if Sheebah was only waiting for him to die before giving him his much deserved credit.
“Musicians are selfish and evil. Will Sheebah first wait for me to die and then start saying that I wrote her such and such a song? The songs I wrote her might not be so good, but they had a very good impact. She got them at times where she had no music and at a time where she had no management,” Aganaga said.
With such a statement, his fans and followers were very quick to assume about how he must have wanted to have sex with her and she turned him down. (Trust Ugandans to always deliver). Aganaga, however, rubbished these allegations. He mentioned that he has a sweet young wife and has no interest whatsoever in Sheebah since she has never been his type.
“I have a very beautiful young wife. Sheebah is not my type. I can never ask for some from her or even want to date her. Just like me, she is a hustler. I can never date a musician. They have their own problems,” he said.
