According to Political Analyst Frank Gashumba, he is not responsible for the careless and irresponsible behavior that is displayed by his daughter Sheila Gashumba. He went on to blame her mother, Christine Mukuza famously known as Tina for his daughter’s getting spoilt.
Frank Gashumba gave an instance that his daughter got her first tattoo in South Africa while she was away for a study program with her mother as her guardian. According to Gashumba, he saw the tattoo when they were going to church. He then asked her what had happened but Tina replied, saying that in this era, children are allowed to do as they please.

"The first time she got a tattoo, she had gone with her mother to South Africa, to study some program. On returning, I asked her what had happened to her armpits as we're going to church.” Narrated Frank Gashumba.
Gashumba recalls that he got angry and called Sheilah's mother but she seemed nonchalant. Gashumba however stated that he disliked the idea of the tattoo and also the extra long nails his daughter was doing. In a nut shell, he never supported her lifestyle, yet her mother encouraged it.
"You're doing this and the woman is doing the other. If men were to say what they go through, you would cry. How can I walk with a child whose fingernails look like six-inch nails?” said Gashumba.
This is not the first time he has publicly commented on his daughter’s terrible life decisions. Early in January, a 10-minute phone call between Frank and his close friend leaked to the public and in that audio he confessed a lot about his pain seeing his daughter making bad life decisions.
He stated that even when he tries to advise his daughter, she never takes him seriously but keeps on doing as she pleases, something that has him in agony.
Recently, a bunch of private pictures of Sheilah and her boyfriend Rickman Manrick leaked to the media. Thus is another blow to Gashumba's pride because as a father, he should not land on such news about his own daughter.
