Lil Pazo stated that in this age, musicians are no longer educators but they are entertainers. He stated that even the people he should learn from turned into liars because even when they elect leaders in politics, they come out to lie to them instead of be educative to them as musicians.

Musician Lil Pazo has come out to clarify that the kind of music many criticized musicians do is no longer to educate masses but rather to entertain them.

Many people have come out to complain that the kind of music that is currently released on the musical scene is completely bizarre and it does not deserve a place in the Ugandan music industry. Very many creatives have come out to share that many people no longer care about releasing timeless music and they only focus on releasing bubble gum songs.

Recently, musician A Pass came out to say that the current trend is getting rather out of hand considering that many people are now getting popular for singing nonsense, something that never used to happen in the past in the music industry.

In response to this, Lil Pazo has come out to state that the only issue A Pass has is his 42 track album that has been around for close to four years with no one paying attention to it. Lil Pazo stated that he even wanted to give A Pass masanyalaze and do the enkudi remix with him but considering his words, he has changed his mind.

“The only issue A Pass has is his 42 track album that has been in existence for 4 years but no one ever listens to it. Do you know any song on that Album? I even wanted to give him a hand to bring him back to fame by giving him a collabo. I wanted to do the enkudi remix with him but now I have changed my mind.” He stated

The interviewer took this chance to ask Lil Pazo whether he believes the kind of music that is being produced now really deserves the kind of attention it gets. He cited that most songs that get attention are non educative  and in most cases vulgar and yet musicians are meant to be educators and mass communicators. For this, he gave examples of Enkudi, Owepicha and Hozambe

In response to this, Lil Pazo stated that in this age, musicians are no longer educators but they are entertainers. He stated that even the people he should learn from turned into liars because even when they elect leaders in politics, they come out to lie to them instead of be educative to them as musicians.

“We are no longer educators. We are entertainers. Even you people that should  be educating us are just liars. Let us not talk of being educators. We always elect leaders and all they do is lie. I have seen your guests on this show and most are liars. Do you know that I don’t even know the member of Parliament for my constituency? That is how bad the situation has turned out to be.” Lil Pazo stated.
