Pius Mayanja, popularly known as Pallaso, a renowned singer from Uganda, faced a significant embarrassment during the live concert of upcoming singer Ssalongo Siraje at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Based on the video making rounds on various social media channels, the Team Good Music (TGM) proprietor can be seen attempting to deliver an energetic stage performance when he stumbled and fell in the middle of his act.

Pallaso, known for his high-energy performances, was executing his signature jumps while performing the remix of 'Bega' alongside his brother, Jose Chameleone. Unfortunately, he missed a step and ended up landing on his back.

Despite the concern shown by the fans, Pallaso did not let this mishap deter him. He laughed it off and continued singing, displaying his professionalism and determination.

This incident took place during Ssalongo Siraje's Nalu concert at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on June 14, 2024.

It should however be noted that over the years, several Ugandan musicians have faced the same embarrassment.

In December of last year 2023, during a live performance in Kajjansi, David Lutalo, the talented singer, experienced an unexpected mishap.

While passionately singing his hit song "Gunsituula," he accidentally slipped and tumbled onto the stage.

Despite the sudden fall, Lutalo appeared to be unharmed as he swiftly regained his composure. However, a hint of surprise could be seen on his face, possibly due to the fortunate absence of any serious injuries.

Fortunately, the event organizers promptly rearranged the stage boards, allowing the show to seamlessly carry on.

In May 2023, during a wedding ceremony in Kampala, singer Violah Nakitinde experienced an unfortunate incident.

While she was performing and leading the brides, she slipped on a wet carpet due to her high-heeled shoes, causing her to fall awkwardly to the ground.

The incident amused the audience, but Nakitinde managed to continue her performance despite the embarrassment. Afterward, she sought medical attention, but fortunately, the doctor assured her that her condition was not severe.

During her performance at Agip Motel in Mbarara in September 2022, singer Winnie Nakanwagi, also known as Nwagi, experienced a fall when her left leg broke through the wood up to the point where the upper thigh meets the buttocks.

Despite the mishap, she was quickly assisted by people on stage and managed to continue singing her hit single Magic.

The incident was captured in a 43-second clip that later went viral, showing Nwagi finishing the song amidst a cheering audience.
