Over the weekend, singer Sheebah Karungi hosted her incredibly successful two-day concert at Kampala Serena Hotel and I must say it was such a great success because both days registered massive turn ups and revelers were still amazed by the energy exhibited by Sheebah on stage during her vibrant live performance.
The singer filled Serena to the brim on Friday and Saturday and believes she offered the best performance for her fans. However, despite her magnificent performance that left many bouncing and chanting her name, contoversal blogger Isma Olaxess, who happens to have a long term beef with Sheebah Karungi was not convinced by the performance and whatnot.
Isma Olaxess, who is popularly known as Jajja Iculi has trashed the singer’s performance. He claims that despite Sheebah staging a two day concert, she will never be on the same level with Juliana Kanyomozi and self proclaimed dancehall king Cindy Sanyu.
Isma says Sheebah’s failure to perform live, leaves her behind Juliana and the King Herself. He mentioned that during this concert, sheebah forgot all the lessons taught to her by Cindy on how to sing live. He also mentioned that the singing only started getting interesting when musician King Saha stepped on stage and took over the microphone. Isma stressed that Sheebah really had nothing ro offer because she does not know how to sing live.
“Sheebah why don’t you learn how to sing live. For the time Cindy has taught you how to sing live, okyakekela kumuzidalo, Julian is still of class even when you made a 2-day show yabadde yakitemwa mediocre siyelyawo…. Lighting was on point but singing LIVE failed. Live music was not coming out until King Saha came on stage. Sheebah had nothing to offer,” Isma critised.
Isma mentioned that Sheebah should take the example of Juliana Kanyomozi, Nava Grey, Cindy if she wants to leave a Music legacy in the industry. Fans have been disturbed by these comments and most sheebaholics have found themselves responding to Blogger Isma Olaxess and shutting him down over his hateful comments.
Sheebah herself has not come out to clap back at Isma but many of her fans are anticipating a war between her and Isma once she lands on his criticisms. Well, we await for a comment from Queen Karma
