Singer Grenade Official real name, Deus Ndugwa has taken netizens by surprise after he decided to bitterly separate with Team No Sleep (TNS) manager Jeff Kiwa following a year of the pair working together. This is the third artist that Jeff Kiwa is losing and many have concluded that TNS is on the verge of collapsing after releasing three big name musicians.
When Sheebah officially left Jeff Kiwa in December 2021, the TNS boss assembled a brand new team, that is; Grenade, Rahma Pinky and a few others to replace her.
As time went by however, there was another wave that hit his boat when he had to release his Sheebah replacement Rahma Pinky. He dismissed her amidst rumors that she is very undisciplined and he had failed to handle her poor character.. According to intel, Rahma was always smoking like a chimney and she also indulged in coitus with different men. It was said that she invited men of all sizes into her apartment and chewed on their candles.
Rahma made it a point to deny these rumors, saying it was better for her to leave TNS because she has nothing there anyway and she had gained nothing from the label. Well, Jeff still had Grenade and at different events, he was seen tight marking him so that no one got a chance to fish him out of the label.
Grenade has been a success since he teamed up with Jeff. He dropped a collaboration titled ‘Picha’ with Pinky and a single Babandana which ruled the airwaves. Grenade, currently is among the most booked artists and recently he bought a Mercedes Benz to celebrate his success.
It is no secret Jeff Kiwa, mastered the art of promoting artists and getting them to the top charts. There is no artist he has handled that has failed to get to the limelight with various hit songs. He rose to fame while managing Jose Chameleone. He later left Chameleone, took on the Good Lyfe Crew of Radio & Weasel, making them a deadly duo.
According to NBS TV gossip motor mouth, Kaiyz, Grenade split with Jeff because of drugs and indiscipline, just like Rahma Pinky. There has also been word that Grenade has a problem of drugs. Jeff warned him to quit but the ‘Babandana’ hit maker kept a deaf ear.
Corridor talk also has it that Grenade has already appointed a new manager, one who is still unknown however. Netizens are however worried for Grenade's music career because he was majorly amplified while working with Jeff Kiwa. Many believe he is going to fade from the industry after parting with Jeff.
