After the world premiere screening of Miller's Girl at the 35th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival last month, everyone was able to access the new Jenna Ortega movie where she casts as an eighteen years old Cairo Sweet who gets into an intense relationship with her teacher, Jonathan Miller who is known to be Martin Freeman.
The movie is mainly about a relationship between a young eighteen year old and her teacher who's really older than her.
Jenna and Martin do share some sex scenes in the movie that many fans term as ‘gross’ since the latter is 31years older than the former.
This caused the intimacy coordinator, Kristina Arjona, to drop back at claims that the raunchy on-screen moment was ‘gross'.
She revealed to the Daily Mail.com that “There was many, many people throughout this process to make sure that it was consistent with what she was comfortable with, and she was very determined and very sure of what she wanted to do.”
Jenna Ortega also confirms that she was sure of what she wanted to do to make Kristina's words firm.
Kristina adds on that there were ample discussions between cast and crew before any scenes were filmed.
A source told DailyMail.com;
“People need to get over the fact that Jenna is not Wednesday Adams and that she is a grown up woman who's exploring serious roles as a talented actress.”
This is very true and considering the fact that Jenna was comfortable and sure with her part of the movie, people should just calm down cause it's part of her job as she's on the road to making her career big. There's no such thing as ‘gross’ if anyone is a real fan to both the stars.
The movie was directed and filmed by Hollywood newcomer; Jade Halley Barlett.
Jade has spent years trying to bring the movie to life having earned a 2016 spot on the Black List a platform that highlights unproduced screen plays and helps writers and producers to get their work on the big screen.
The Film was initially written as a play by Jade in 2011 and was released by Lionsgate in theatres on Jan 26 having premiered at the Palm Springs International Film Festival earlier this year.
This is great success for Jade, Martin and Jenna so people should deal with their gross issues about just a mere sex scene because the movie is great.
