    in summary
In a Facebook post, Jazmine declared that Arinaitwe David is 'wanted' and provided a black-and-white photograph of the alleged culprit. She urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward and cooperate with the authorities, promising a reward for any leads that result in his capture.

Angelic-voiced star singer Lydia Jazmine has taken to social media to sound the alarm and seek public assistance in tracking down one Arinaitwe David accused of embezzling a substantial amount of money from her.

Jazmine took to her official Facebook page to expose David's alleged fraud and seek help in tracking him down. She shared a black-and-white photograph of David and offered a reward for any information leading to his capture.

Arinaitwe David is wanted! He’s on the run after stealing money from me. Please contact authorities with any information. Reward available,” she posted on June 28.

Her fans and followers rallied behind her, sharing the post and offering words of support. The post quickly went viral, sparking a widespread conversation about fraud and accountability in the music industry.

In the comments sections, several social media users shared their own experiences with fraudulent activities, highlighting the need for greater vigilance and secure financial practices. Some revealed having encountered similar incidents, while others offered advice on how to avoid falling prey to fraudsters. The incident served as a wake-up call for the Ugandans in and outside the music industry,  emphasizing the importance of thorough background checks and secure financial arrangements.

In a strikingly similar incident, Felista Di Superstar, a young Ugandan rapper, also fell prey to fraud. Her concert, Felista Fest 2024, was called off after the event's promoter disappeared with approximately Shs 50,000,000 meant for the show. The promoter had been responsible for managing the event's finances, and his disappearance left Felista Di Superstar with significant losses.

Like Jazmine, Felista Di Superstar took to social media to express her frustration and disappointment. She urged her fans to be vigilant and warned other artists about the promoter's alleged fraudulent activities. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of thorough background checks and secure financial arrangements in the music industry.

Why Felista Di Superstar's maiden concert has been canceled

The experiences of both Lydia Jazmine and Felista Di Superstar highlight the need for greater awareness and caution among artists and industry professionals. By sharing their stories, they hope to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. The incidents also underscore the importance of supporting one another in the face of adversity, as both artists received an outpouring of support from their fans and fellow artists.
