Singer Mikie Wine tucked his tail in between his legs like a scared dog and he bowed to pressure, as he immediately deleted the post which was endorsing fellow singer Eddy Kenzo’s festival. It is not a secret that singer Mikie Wine and his elder brother Bobi Wine are some of the stepping stones to Eddy Kenzo’s success and ofcourse news had it that singer Bobi Wine also took it upon himself to endorse Eddy Kenzo however much they were known to be long term archenemies.
The relationship between Eddy Kenzo and Bobi Wine soured in 2020, when a conversation leaked online in which the former (Kenzo) criticized the latter (Bobi) for being selfish and hypocritical yet the entire World knew him as a loving and kind person.
Bobi Wine’s fans have always victimized anyone who associates with his nemesis with the most recent victim being his younger brother Mikie Wine. As various musicians were endorsing Kenzo’s festival happening now at Kololo Airstrip, Mikie jumped on the bandwagon and shared the event poster before urging folks to go and support the Big Talent chief.
However, Mikie Wine’s decision didn’t sit well with his fans who criticized him for endorsing an event staged by a nemesis of his elder brother Bobi Wine. The fans then threatened Mikie with a boycott of his music and as many insults as they learned from their childhood as well as all those that they could remember. The insults directed at Mikie prompted him to remove the post as the only way to quell the uproar on social media.
