NBS TV sacks "The Sheila's" - Gashumba and Salta!

Everyday that passes, holding an on-Air Job at NBS Television gets even more harder!

As we speak, the Naguru based Station under Next Media Service's has relieved the 2 Sheila's - Gashumba and Salta of their presenting jobs.

Although official communication from Next Media social media platforms bid them farewell wishing them the best in their next endeavors, our sources at NBS Authoritatively confirmed to us that the pair was simply sacked!

A Deeper look into the matter further indicates that, NBS TV management did not love the fact that the pair had moved on to sign a working relationship with newbie Radio station NRG in Kampala.

Its alleged that the NBS Editorial policy deterred their staff from taking on other roles at other media houses and their movement called for an immediate action of being laid off.

Sheila Gashumba joined NBS TV in late 2021 as a host on NBS After 5 show while Sheila Salta joined in January 2020 to host NBS Ketchup show, the latter - Gashumba was further cited in a recurring absence issue from the show.

At NRG radio, Gashumba hosts a Friday evening Music show whereas Salta hosts a Daily Drive show.

The development of their departure comes few months after the same media group laid off a couple of their Newsroom reporters citing failure to cope with the changing Digital World!
