RIP! NTV Journalist Edward Muhumuza dies in Car Crash!

Its a sad day in the Ugandan Media and Journalism fraternity following death of one of its one - Edward Muhumuza.

Muhumuza, was a Journalist with Nation Media Group working with NTV as a senior reporter died in a car crash along Entebbe Expressway.

The accident that claimed his life involved a Toyota Passo car on Saturday morning at Mpala along the Expressway.

According to reports, Muhumuza lost control of his vehicle at around 7am meters after Mpala UNRA toll gate as he drived from Kampala towards Entebbe when he veered off the road something that prompted his car to jump over the trench.

According to workmates, he was driving to Nkumba University where he was Persuing a Journalism Degree. 

His workmate at NTV, News Anchor Sandra Kahumuza said they met with him at NTV past mid night on Friday, they joked and departed. She was suddened to hear of his death hours later.

Muhumuza's body has been taken to City Mortuary Mulago for postmortem. May his Soul Rest in Peace!
