The much-anticipated Jameson & Friends event, organized quarterly by Talent Africa Group, took place last Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the garden city Rooftop in the Kampala city. Known for its lively atmosphere and unique attractions, this event drew hundreds of revelers eager to experience a night of music, interactive activities, and, of course, the finest Irish whiskey.
Attendees were treated to a vibrant energetic lineup of experiences, starting with an array of interactive games and trend-setting pop-up shops that set the tone for an exciting evening. Mouth-watering barbecue options filled the air with tantalizing aromas, while guests enjoyed free haircuts, discounted tattoos, and complimentary Jameson cocktails.
The evening kicked off with a high-energy musical performance by Ugandan artist Jenesis Kimera, famous for his hits “Bed Ova” and “Owewuwo.” His performance was followed by Kohen Jaycee, who delivered an unforgettable set with songs like "Siganye," "Not Letting Go," and "Ndolere," capturing the crowd’s attention and sparking singalongs throughout the venue. The soulful melodies of Professor Joewi and the Black Wave Sound band brought a captivating vibe, while Yo Kuki energized the audience, encouraging revelers to embrace the moment with friends and family.
On the hype side, MC Adiele Kiele, Sean Preezy, and Viana Indi maintained the crowd's energy with a "spooky" theme that added a unique twist to the event’s ambiance. As the night drew to a close, DJ Kasbaby, Sal DJ, and DJ Rocky took to the turntables, ensuring that the crowd stayed on their feet until the last beat dropped.
Mr. Aly Alibhai, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Talent Africa Group (TAG), praised the success of the event, saying, “We are thrilled with the Jameson And Friends monthly culture. The combination of top-notch performers, engaging activities, and a lively atmosphere created an unforgettable experience for all our attendees. We are grateful for the support of our sponsors and audience who have continued to make this event a resounding success.”
