Political analyst Joseph Tamale Mirundi after having told off his son Tamale Mirundi Junior for dating a woman old enough to be his mom, has later come out and said that he was okay with his son being romantically involved with socialite Nalongo Don Zella, real name Sheila Nadege. He went ahead to mention that of all the women his son has brought home, he found himself liking her most because of the simple reason that she gave him two new suits and shoes
“Of all the women he has brought home, Don Zella is the one I love most. She didn’t come to cheat him. She also bought me two suits and shoes,” Mirundi said when he was talking to a BBS TV reporter.
Tamale Mirundi Junior dated Zella, who is about 10 years older than him. During that period, he moved into her house, becoming social media fodder as netizens said he had lowered himself and also allowed an older woman to marry him just for accomodations.
According to Tamale Mirundi, his son is still waiting for his lover Don Zella and he has no plans of marrying any other woman who is not her. When asked whether his son has the dowry to pay off and marry Don Zella, he mentiones that she would be the one to pay dowry for his son. He me tiones that he was ready to give away his son to an older woman because he would never learn anything useful from young girls and he has to draw lessons from an older woman such that by the time he gets a young woman, he is experienced.
“Do you think he will learn from young girls? He will learn from old women that have the skills, so by the time he gets a young girl, he is already good.”he said.
Tamale Mirundi went ahead to mention that the choice belonged to his son to choose his spouse and it was not his father’s duty to do that for him because as an elder, he had no right to poke his nose into his son’s business most especially when it came to choosing his bride. When asked about his thoughts on his son being chased by Don Zella from her abode, he mentioned that all these re lessons to Junior.
When asked whether he ever sat his own son down to give him some advice, he mentioned that he could not find the right advice for his son considering that we was not a good family man himself and he went around collecting wives and children like trophies.
“What do you want me to counsel him about? How many families do I have? I have many wives and families. If he can’t work for himself, let him learn the hard way.” He said
