Today morning, the country was in huge shock when news trickled in that RTD. Maj Gen Kasirye Gwanga had died at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala.
The retired soldier who had slipped into comma in late May was receiving treatment at the hospital. He underwent an emergency operation on on his head and was reported to be getting better but still in critical condition last week according to his family.
Many celebrities came out today and eulogised the fallen UPDF soldier including Jose Chameleone, Weasel Manizo, Catherine Kusasira and many others with whom he had a personal touch.
Bebe Cool whom he claimed to have not know when he was alive also came out and posted his social media how a true hero had departed on heroes day.
But rewinding back to Early March this year (2020) Kasirye during an interview with a local news reporter unleashed his thoughts towards Bebe Cool whose name was being talked of everywhere in the country's media.
He said that he did not no Bebe Cool at all, he has never met him. To add more heat to the fire, Gwanga called Bebe a stupid man and an idiot.

Later on March 5th, barely a day or two after the interview, Bebe Cool came out and defended himself in a social media post saying that even though Kasirye Gwanga dissed him to the pulp, he still accords him full respect.
