    in summary
Manchester City can put the pressure on Arsenal if they win Fulham at Craven Cottage on the weekend and replace Arsenal at the top of the Premier league table.

Fulham host Manchester city this weekend at Craven Cottage. Manchester City defeated Fulham in the reverse fixture 5-1 at the Etihad Stadium with goals from Julian Alvarez, Nathan Ake and a hattrick from Erling Haaland for Manchester city while Timothy Micheal Ream was the scorer for Fulham.

Manchester City in the last few weeks have been responding to Arsenal every  game week, however this time Manchester City can put the pressure on Arsenal as they are set to play first this weekend. Arsenal fans will be supporting Fulham to  defeat Manchester City but it seems unlikely as Manchester city have won all their last 15 games against Fulham in all competitions. In English Football History, this is the joint-longest winning run any team has recorded against another.

Manchester City have played 35 games so far this season, winning 25 of them, settling for a draw 7 times and have lost 3 times leaving them with 82  points and in 2nd position in the league. If Manchester City defeat Fulham they will go at the top of the Premier League table. Manchester City are still favourites to win the Premier league title because they have a game in hand.

Fulham finished 10th last season but due to some inconsistent performances in 2024, they need to win both of their last two matches in order to reach the 50 point mark. Fulham have played 36 games, winning 12 of them, settling for a draw 8 times and have lost 16 times leaving them with 44 points and in the 13th position in the league.

Manchester City extended their unbeaten run to 20 matches after defeating Wolverhampton Wonderers 5-1 at the Etihad Stadium with four goals from Erling Haaland and the other by Julian Alvarez. Hee-chan Hwang was the player who scored for Wolves.
