The Eagles to face the Red Devils

Due to a lack of consistency, Erik Ten Hag's Manchester United will not be playing in the Champions League next season. Newcastle's win over Burnley and Chelsea's win over Westham saw Manchester United drop to eighth position in the Premier League. However, they can still battle to qualify for the Europa League and Conference League next season when they visit Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Oliver Glasner who replaced Roy Hodgson in the middle of February as the new Crystal Palace manager has a record of four wins, three draws and three losses from his ten games in charge. Having overcome Liverpool, Westham, Newcastle United and drawn 1-1 with  Fulham, Crystal Palace go into this match with a four game unbeaten run.

Having recorded a 1-0 victory over Manchester United in the reverse fixture, Crystal Palace will be looking to complete the league double over the Red Devils for the first time in history. They will also be aiming to make it three straight Premier League wins at Selhurst Park for the first time since October 2022.

There is no doubt this has been a difficult season for Manchester United  who have already faced twelve league defeats. But they can change the season around with some silverware as they prepare to face Manchester City in the final of the FA cup at the end of the month. Manchester United are unbeaten since their 4-3 loss to Chelsea but have only won one of their four league games since then and were held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley at Old Trafford last weekend.

In the 17 away league games Manchester United have played so far this season, they have won seven, drawn three and lost seven. They will be facing a Palace side who have also lost seven league games at home this season.

Crystal Palace will be without Cheick Doucoure, Jefferson Lerma, Matheus Franca, Nathan Ferguson, Rob Holding and Sam Johnstone for this upcoming match. However, Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi are both set to return to the squad.

Manchester United will be without Lisandro Martinez, Victor Londelof, Anthony Martial, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford, Raphael Varane, Tyrell Malacia and Willy Kambwala. Bruno Fernandes, Jonny Evans and Scott McTominay may return to the first team squad.
