Last Friday night came with mixed feelings from the people in Kampala that attended a charity concert that had Tanzanian Singer , Diamond Platinumz as the headliner.
First of all, about 2 days before the event , Zari informed people back in Uganda about how she cannot make it back home to join her lover Diamond
“Unfortunately I will not be attending the Kampala charity festival as advertised by some blogs due to personal commitments. Hope u enjoy,” Zari tweeted on Wednesday 4th October.
This was before the fateful Thursday where Zari deleted all her photos with diamond from her social media accounts which confirmed to us that she is 90% done with the Tanzanian superstar. But this sent a rage of fire to Ugandans back home where some even vowed not to attend the concert.
Others attended the concert but when Diamond was performing on stage , Zari's fans threatened to put the show to a stand still for the man to explain to them what was really going in his love life as they shouted demanding for the truth. Fans blame the singer for mistreating and cheating on Zari with Hamisa Mobbetto.
On the other side of things, musician A Pass accused KCCA of reducing local talent to nothing. He said that the organisation instead of promoting local talent, it was instead hiring international musicians whom it even paid highly, citing Diamond Platinumz who was paid a whopping UGX.108 million shilling to perform yet the local artistes in total were allocated only UGX.20 million.
