Whereas it seems like she has her entire life figured out every time she comes on camera, she also has past trauma when it comes to her journey to stardom as well as her childhood.
According to Pia Pounds, one of the toughest things that happened to her as she grew up was not having both of her parents around. In a recent interview in a show dubbed The daily soup on Spark TV, she opened up about her experiences growing up and how they have shaped her both personally and professionally.
Pia Pounds revealed that she lost her mother at a very young age, which left a huge void in her life. At this particular time, it is not like she knew where her father was so she felt alone after the death of her mother. Not having her parents around was pure torture to her but she has remained resilient even with her music through it all.
Pia Pounds upon growing up decided to take the major step and hunt her father down. Luckily, she was able to meet her father about five years ago, something that gave her pure joy. This reunion between Pia and her dad marked a new beginning in her life, as she and her father are now working on building a connection with each other. However much time they have spent apart, Pia says she is willing to make this reunion work no matter the cost.
Pia stated that even when there could be a few turbulence in her personal life here and there, she could never let that affect her music career and she will therefore always be ready to release hit music without any fail.
According to Pia, she is still taking her time to establish herself in the music industry and she is in no rush to achieve great things afterall, good things do take time. Even when she has not held a maiden concert, Pia believes that her own time will come as everyone has their own time to shine. In the mean time, she promises her fans good music and good vibes.
