We all recall when Mudra D viral came out and listed musician Karole Kasita's bad habits, right? He mentioned that she was not good at paying off her debts because he still demanded her a lot of money for many projects he worked on for her. It came as a shocker for many people because no one even knew that Mudra was the one writing Kasita’s songs.
According to Mudra, the first song he wrote was Yaka and it became a hit. This song, which was released in 2018 and became successful, prompted Kasita to call him again to write Mwoto, her collabo with Cindy Sanyu which also turned into a big song.
Mudra revealed that Cindy Sanyu was also impressed by his lyrical prowess and she collaborated with him on another sweet jam titled Boss. However, according to him, Cindy never put in significant effort in promoting the song, which is why it didn't perform very well on airwaves. According to him, every misunderstanding that occurred between him and Kasita was brought on by her former manager Joram Lukisa.
He said Lukisa used to mislead Kasita, which is why they also separated professionally on very bad terms. Mudra made it known that for each song, Kasita would pay him Sh500k. According to him, all the biggest songs Kasita has were written by him but Kasita used to pay him in a manner that was frustrating. Sometimes, the money would delay, other times, it would be in parts and there were also times when she didn't pay him at all.
News on our desk reveals that after thorough thought, Kasita came out and paid Mudra all his balance. Mudra Viral revealed that Karole Kasita finally paid the money she owed him for writing her songs and she paid after having watched the interview where Mudra had exposed her.
"After this last interview, she called me and gave me the money so we're fine," said Mudra
