Seizing an estimated UGX 150 million, the robbers hastily fled the scene in a waiting getaway vehicle. As they made their escape, gunshots rang out, sending waves of panic among onlookers.

Upon receiving the distress call, local authorities were promptly notified, prompting an immediate police response and the launch of a manhunt to apprehend the perpetrators. Superintendent Patrick Onyango, the police spokesperson, confirmed an ongoing investigation and assured the public of the force's unwavering commitment to bringing the criminals to justice.

"We vehemently condemn this act of violence and criminality," Superintendent Onyango expressed during a press briefing. "We have mobilized our best teams to conduct a thorough investigation. Rest assured, we will not relent until the culprits are apprehended and face the full extent of the law."
