Clad in masquerade clothing and donning masks to conceal their identities, the assailants swiftly gained control of the premises. They appeared to be highly organized and well-prepared."
Seizing an estimated UGX 150 million, the robbers hastily fled the scene in a waiting getaway vehicle. As they made their escape, gunshots rang out, sending waves of panic among onlookers.
Upon receiving the distress call, local authorities were promptly notified, prompting an immediate police response and the launch of a manhunt to apprehend the perpetrators. Superintendent Patrick Onyango, the police spokesperson, confirmed an ongoing investigation and assured the public of the force's unwavering commitment to bringing the criminals to justice.
