Recently, blogger Ritah Kaggwa surely faced it rough after a number of police officers came for her claiming they were sent to arrest her. The vocal blogger, her Nigerian husband,and children were accosted by policemen who led them to police for questioning
The couple jetted into the country last week during which Rita formally took her man home where they threw her a very big welcome home party which turned out to be glamorous but did not end well for the blogger as she faced an entire night of jail time, something she had not planned for.
On Saturday afternoon, word of Rita Kaggwa’s arrest spread on social media while the blogger’s long term enemy Shanita Namuyimbwa ( Bad Black) was celebrating the news. Bad Black shared the video of Ritah Kagwa as she talked about her arrest while she was at the station. She could not help but jubilate after the previous exchange of words that the two had given each other.
"We are here at police. I am extremely safe. The British High commission has checked in and cleared me. I cant say we were arrested. We were just besieged and taken for questioning,” Ritah Kaggwa said in the video
However much the reason for her arrest was unclear, blogger Peng Peng has come out to mention the real reason why Ritah Kagwa was arrested. He mentioned that the person who sent the officers is none other than Mama Acid who was angry after exchanging bitter words with Ritah Kaggwa.
According to Peng Peng, Mama Acid was accused by Ritah Kaggwa of having HIV AIDS, something she could not put up with so she decided to teach her a lesson by putting her behind bars. Peng Peng however went ahead to thank the president of Uganda Bloggers Association, Isma Olaxess for having rescued Ritah Kaggwa from jail because he is the one that suffered for her to be released.
Peng Peng also mentioned that Mama Acid was planning to fly into the country just to teach Ritah Kaggwa a lesson and that everyone should get ready for the cross fire and bullet exchange. He urged people to choose sides wisely because Mama Acid has connections with SFC while Ritah Kaggwa apparently has a father who comes from a strong ancestral rite
