Marriage is a wonderful entity indeed. For many women, it is the only assurance that they are loved, appreciated and respected by their better half. Many dream of walking down the aisle with their partners to sanctify their love in front of God and various witnesses.
For a few however, it is a dark prison with close to no escape. There is a section of people that is afraid of this confinement and in fact afraid of all the responsibilities that come with it. This is why many resort to cohabiting rather than walking down the aisle.
Over the weekend, NUP deputy spokesman Alex Waiswa walked down the aisle with his longtime lover, Edith. The ghetto President Bobi Wine who was the chief guest at the event used the opportunity to beg his young brothers Mikie Wine and Dax Vibes to wed their women.
According to Bobi Wine, he feels it is high time that his younger brothers took their lovers before God and presented them at the alter as a sign of their unending love and respect for their union and togetherness.
Bobi believes a Christian wedding can give a woman assurance that she counts and she is not just a passer by in the relationship, which most women are always afraid of.
“I encourage all of you to do weddings. My brothers Mike and Dax this call goes to you as well. Marriage is the security you can give to the woman you love and it’s a blessing,” he said.
Bobi was well aware of the fact that some people are afraid of weddings because of high expenditures and limited income so he took it upon himself and he advised them to go for small-budget weddings that could fit into their pockets instead of outdoing themselves.
