Crysto Panda slated a show that was dubbed #Panda Turn up. This show was at Hockey grounds Lugogo and it was majorly meant for the youth and school going darlings. The show did not however go as anticipated because there was a very low turn up. The heavy rains that started early in the morning ceased to end until only an hour to the end of the show. Crysto mentioned that it caused him great loses, not only with the low turn up but also destruction of some equipment because of the heavy rains.
"My people, been trying to find better words I can use following a huge disappointment I got on my event #PandaTurnUp last Saturday because of the heavy rains that started from 11am to 4:30pm [and] damaged some speakers [and] also sabotaged the whole event," he said in a statement on Monday
According to Panda, this was the least of his expectations but with no other options. He mentioned that being a believer, he knew many things happen for different reasons. He mentioned that it is common to win or lose sometimes so it was not rocket science. Crysto mentioned that he had accepted this loss and left everything to God
"It is not what I expected but life is like that. You WIN or Lose... it's hard to fight nature... being a true believer in God, I had nothing to do but to instead just leave everything in his hands." Said Panda
He however could not stop expressing his gratitude for the love he was shown by everyone that turned up. He thanked them mightily and mentioned that he owes them loyalty because they have been there for him. He however promised a better show of the same edition come. December this year.
"Thank you to Everyone that at least managed to pull up, Artists, DJs, mcees, sponsors and service providers & to those that got stuck somewhere and couldn't make it. I am sorry for the disappointment I owe y'all my loyalty for the love y'all expressed during my hard times." He said
