During his national address yesterday, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni continued to call out Daily Monitor newspaper to come out and apologizing for a story they released about him and the first Lady.
About a week ago, the newspaper published a story claiming the president and the wife had secretly got the coronavirus jab before the national vaccination began. Museveni had since then come out to refute the allegations which he repeated yesterday.
"Now there's Daily Monitor which published false information that me and Janet had got the coronavirus jab. They must have the front-page of their paper having apologizing message or else my party will make money from them. I have already informed my lawyers. We're planning to build the movement building, Daily Monitor might contribute through damages." Said the president yesterday.
