    The 2023 Grammy Awards took place last night in Los Angeles. This year's edition of the awards were very special for Uganda because their own - Eddy Kenzo was among the nominees.

    Although he didn't win the award, he's celebrated for the changing the narrative that Uganda will never reach such levels.

    Nominated in the Best Global Music Performance category together with Matt B for their duet "Gimme Love" - the award was won by SouthAfrica's Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini and Nomcebo Zikode.

    In this 65th edition of the awards, songstress Beyonce broke the Record for most wins by an artist in the Grammy History, converting four out of her nine nominations into victories.
