Days after the Members of Parliament passed the Anti-Homosexuality Bill - State Minister for Primary Education, Dr. Joyce Moriku Kaducu has closed a school's Boarding section over Homosexuality related matters.
According to reports, seven pupils were reportedly sodomised by a warden at Mubende Public Model Primary School.
According to the minister, the boarding section of the school was overly congested with pupils sharing beds on the triple Decker beds something she explained provides a fertile ground for evil acts like Homosexuality!
Further more, it was revealed that atleast 350 pupils in the primary and nursery sections were only housed in five small rooms that acted like dormitories.
“I want you to tell the parents that you have been operating an illegal boarding section and no guidelines were being followed. I guess that is why homosexuality has been thriving in the dormitories. How can you let children sleep in that manner?” the minister angrily questioned as she ordered the school management to close the boarding section on Friday.
The minister also questioned Mubende Municipality's education department for not doing their work of schools inspection diligently.
