    Fik Fameica Tastes Rough Waters of Ugandan Music, His Fans Ain't Loyal.

    Last night will be one that Fik Fameica will remember all his life. The sponsors too that had put a big foot in the organisation of his concert will not forget it because they didn't see what hit them when it was coming.

    At first , around 8.00pm yesterday there were photos circulating on social media of how the venue for Fik's concert was dry as seen in the photos below ;

    After some time, due to fear of shame, another set of photos was released as soon as a small audience came through but you would clearly see that something was not right as shown in the photos below;

    Fik Fameica's show although not so poorly attended did not reach it's targeted audience numbers. Yes, everyone knows how successful his music has been but his concert was a total flop when you compare to how his music is played all over.

    Dubbed "My Journey" the musician was supposed to tell his musical journey story to all those that would have attended but many people after seeing the photos started throwing scorn that the man is too young to tell us a story and one person was quoted saying that his journey "is like moving from City Square to CPS",  how savage ????.

    According to local reports, after people has stopped buying the entrance tickets, the organisers made the show a free one by allowing anyone who was out side to enter for free in order to manage public relations and make everything seem okay. This clearly means the organisers made total losses yesterday.

    A Disappointed Fameica performing on stage

    However there is always a learning point in every situation. Fik Fameica to be truthful rose too fast to fame and this should have made him worry because it doesn't normally happen like that in music.

    He should have asked himself a question as to why his growth rate was too high because this might actually mean that his failure rate may also be high if he is not careful.

    I don't want to judge him as an artist but I think him and his music became overrated to the extent that he stopped working so hard to make some good music. If you have been vigilant, all his recent past songs have not been so good such as Tonsukuma. Although it was a hit you cannot compare it to "My Property, Kutama and others".

    So my final words are that however big Fik Fameica might have become , he should always be humble and work the same way he was doing before all the fame came in.
