Good advice that people always tend to ignore.
Am sure you have been in a situation where you wished to seek counsel from someone else other than yourself, right?
We have all been there. Sometimes, situations just happen to get the best of us and sometimes we are just caught in a dilemma. For some people, it is easy to get themselves out of such a tedious dilemma.
For some others however, it is not as easy as believed to be. Some people are afraid to even take their own advice on matters, most especially concerning health and finances (oh and relationships).
When given advice however, some people tend to overlook it. Reason? The person they have asked is not in their shoes so it is not easy to relate to the kind of advice that they are giving.
There are pieces of advice however that someone may have given you and you have ignored yet they could have saved your life in one way or another.
Sometimes, you ignore his advice because you feel misunderstood, or even because it does not sound realistic to you so you dismiss it because you believe it will not work out for you.

Good advice that people always tend to ignore.
Do not make assumptions.
This advice is usually given to those that are in relationships. When you are blinded by the cloak of love, sometimes you find yourself assuming things that could go wrong in the relationship.
With such assumptions, you end up jumping to conclusions. When you ask for advice, an experienced person will always tell you “Do not make assumptions".
When you hear this piece of advice, the detective in you jumps on all fours and decides to ignore this advice.
Do not do that! Making assumptions is the worst thing you can ever do to yourself because it will make you hallucinate over things that do not even exist.
You have to give in order to get.
You have heard this advice somewhere, right? And you ignored it, am sure. Well, this is advice that you ought to listen to! Giving always aligns with Receiving.
You should always give in order to receive. Do you know why? Because one good turn deserves another and a giving hand will always be a receiving hand!
Even when it comes to church, you will be told to sow a seed in exchange for that long awaited miracle. Only when you sacrifice something will you get returns. Why do you think you make an investment if you want profits, huh?
The best kind of luck is always Hard work.
When someone tells you to work hard in order to achieve what you desire, I wouldn’t say they are paranoid. No one and I repeat no one makes it basing solely on luck. It is just something that lazy people tell themselves. When you work hard, you will achieve greatness.
Do not try to impress everyone.
You will never impress everyone. No matter how hard you try, you will never do it. If someone tells you not to try to impress everyone around you, you best listen to this piece of advice and take a chill pill.
You can not always get what you want.
Not even the rich spoilt kids always get what they want. That is how fair the World is. Some things will work out and some certain things will just not work out.
When someone tells you this piece of advice, don’t act like they do not wish for you to have good things happening to you or that they do not want you to get what they want.
They ate actually reducing your level of disappointment at having things not going your way at a certain point in your life. So if you ever try your best but things are still not going your way, remember that you can not always get what you want.
Treat others as you would like to be treated.
If you want to be treated like a king, please treat someone like a king. Many times I have seen people disagree with this advice but am here to tell you this.
You will always get what you give. If you treat someone with respect, expect the same in return but if you font, you should be ready to be treated disrespectfully of course.
Trust your instincts.
When someone advises you to trust your instincts, you should believe them. Your instincts are never wrong. Everything else can fail but your instincts could never fail you!
Believe in yourself.
If you do not believe in yourself then who else do you expect to believe in you? Believe in yourself or no one else will! Once you believe in yourself, you will notice that you will do things confidently and then you will do them right. So always remember to Believe in yourself.
Do not make decisions when your too angry or too happy.
When someone gives you advice like this, you should thank them but instead, some of you do not believe it is good advice.
When your either too angry or too happy, you are most likely to make a mistake. Always ensure that you make important decisions when you are your normal self.
