It seems the pleas, the letters, the tears, the press conferences have worked out for musicians in Uganda.
After crying of brokness for months now, the government has finally come through for them
100 million Uganda shillings has been donated to the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA)
Among those present to receive this money was khalifa Aganaga, Cindy sanyu, Phina Mugerwa, Ykee Benda among others.
Government promised to soon allow concerts for them to earn a living.
Only musicians registered under the UMA association will get a share of the money given to them.
Balaam was also present and was seen as the man who made this deal pass through since he continuously went to speak to the president on behalf of the artists.
Congratulations to the musicians for finally getting the money they cried for.
