    * Israel loses 14 soldiers during combat with Hamas.

    * Israel vows to fight and wipe out the militant group.

    * Netanyahu admits the war exerts a price on Israel but ther is no option left but to fight.

Israel lost 14 soldiers last Friday and Saturday as they died in central and southern Gaza a sign that Hamas still put up a tough resistance despite lsrael claims of having dealt a serious blow to the militant group. Four lsraeli soldiers were killed when their vehicle has struck with an anti tank missile while others died in separate fighting with another soldier lost to strikes from Lebanese shitte militant group the Hezbollah which has widened conflict around the area presummed to be the birth place of Jesus." The war exerts a very heavy price on us but have no choice but to continue fighting" lsrael prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a cabinet meeting.

The Gaza strip conflict continues to be one of the most destructive counter offensives the world has seen in a year with the Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov coming out to rubbish the U.S and the West for failing to arbitrate peace in  the region and instead aiding lsrael to destroy civilian infrastructure.  The world bank president and top U.S economist Janet Yellen analysed that it will take upto 40 years for Gaza to rebuild back to what it was despite heavy investment . The civilian death toll in Gaza continues to rise up with an estimation of about 21,000 Palestinians dead due to heavy shelling and bombardment  especially in Jabaliya an area north of Gaza city that lsrael has claimed to control.
