Musician Kapa Kat has taken things to a whole new level. Even when she is seemingly not a popular star, she has come out to state that she knows her value as a musician so she does not just attend concerts for very small money. She mentioned that this is because she in not your ordinary up coming artiste.
According to Kapa Cat. She asks for a fee of 1 million shillings to perform at shows, big or small. Kapa insists that her price is non-negotiable, and promoters seem to have no objections with it. She also stated that there are also concerts where she has charged promoters up to 6 million shillings.
"There have been instances where I charged up to 6 million for a show in Kampala," she says.
Kapa attributes her ability to charge such high fees to the rapid growth of her brand. She mentioned that before she made her out standing brand, she was charging a small fee between 200,000 to 250,000/= but then her fee spiked when she got a hit song.
Well, Kapa mentioned that it hiked further because she now has more than one hit song.

"Before I had a hit, I used to charge between 200k and 250k. After my first hit, my fee went up to 600k. But now that I have more hits, my fee has increased to a million," she claims.
