The Cindy- Sheebah battle charade is far from over despite the fact that we got a winner. It is still the talk of the town and many netizens have failed to let it go. There are few musicians however that have been termed as hypocrites after this whole charade and one of them is Lilian Mbazazi.

Mbabazi is recalled to have shared a singing girl group with Musician and battle victor Cindy Sanyu. Back in the day, the two were singing together and as expected, netizens wanted to see Mbabazi on the same side with Cindy.

While appearing on Sanyuka TV however, Bukedde TV journalist Noordin Ntege said that Lilian Mbabazi was a backup vocalist on Sheebah’s side at the battle that happened at Kololo Independence Grounds on Friday 15th September 2023. He claimed that it was planned by the UNMF to help balance both sides vocally so that Sheebah would not be outshined.

Lilian Mbabazi, however, has come out and strongly trashed these allegations. Mbabazi stated that the only thing she did was go backstage at the concert but she did not get involved in the battle vocally.

However, it is no secret that Lilian Mbabazi on Saturday night attended Sheebah Karungi's after-party dinner and this is where spoke out on why she picked the Queen Karma over her former group mate Cindy Sanyu.

According to Mbabazi, it is not a crime to choose Sheebah despite the fact that she did music with Cindy. Lilian also stated that Sheebah is a close friend who supports her and always lifts her up so she saw the need to take her side. Cindy has not come out to say anything on the matter however much media houses have been awaiting her comment since the battle.
