Lumbuye was in Uganda all along - Isma Olaxes
    • October 23, 2021 • 3 years ago

Uganda Bloggers Association president Isma Olaxes alias Jjajja Ichuli has come out strongly to wash off what he calls 'allegations' surrounding the arrest, detention and release of notorious political critic Fred Kajubi Lumbuye.

According to Olaxes, Lumbuye was NEVER detained in Turkey as NUP members claim but rather was widing in Gulu and he just returned to Turkey to complete his 'mission.'

Last week, media was awash with photos of Lumbuye after being released from a Turkey based prison over charges of inciting violence through social media. This is accordig to the updates we've been getting from NUP MP for Kyadondo East Hon. Muwad Nkunyingi.

One of Isma's strong reason is one can't be allowed to grow beads and long hair while in detention in Turkey, which is opposite to Lumbuye's post prison photos that have him with fully griown hair and beards.

Olaxes was earlier remanded to prison over cases of ill talk about celebrities. Should we now believe this new allegation or like the saying goes, 'mans ayisawo bibye?'
