Angelic voiced singer Lydia Nabawanuka, better known by her stage name as Lydia Jazmine has finally come out to comment on reports that there was loss of a life at her recently concluded "First born" concert.
On 1st March 2024, Lydia Jazmine held her debut concert at Hotel Africana after spending ten years in the industry and it registered a remarkable success.
The show event stage, screens, and lighting were meticulously put up by the renowned city eventy planner Fenon Events, leaving a lasting impression on the pleasure seekers.
Popular figures showed their support to Lydia Jazmine by attending the concert while others managed to step on the stage and perform including veteran singer Chance Nalubega, Mary Bata Pia Pounds, Beenie Gunter, Ykee Benda, Rickman, and the list is endless.
Lydia Jazmine got on stage amid wild cheers from her fans and steered through different sets with ease.
The performance was nothing short of spectacular as Lydia Jazmine showed the world she has come of age in the music industry , leaving the audience in awe.

However, a few hours after the concert, Uganda Police reported that Aine Bonus Akankwatsa a resident of Luzira died at Jazmine's concert but she had not come out to comment on the matter.
On Monday April 1, Jazmine took part in a candid interview with Spark Tv and dispelled the reports. Although Jazmine acknowledged that there was death registered on her concert day, she says it happened out the concert vicinity.
“No, it didn’t happen at my show. That happened in the parking lot of Airtel. That did not happen at Africana my dear,” Jazmine said in a video clip seen by the reporter.
The Kawowo singer went ahead to task the interviewer to contact the police and the Hotel Africana management if they wanted more information regarding the incident.
The reporter also Jazmine asked if she was disturbed by the fact that her fellow songstress Rema Namakula did not return the favor of attending her concert.
In her response, Lydia Jazmine noted that it was fine because her attending Rema’s concert was an act of support.
“It is very okay. I attended her concert to support her,”
Jazmine responded before noting that she will also attend her supposed nemesis, Carol Nantongo’s concert slated for 6th December 2024, at Hotel Africana.
