Not all is going on well in NBS After 5 presenter Edwin Katamba a.k.a MC Kats’ life. He seems to have been going through a silent family battle for a while now. This has all been revealed in a shocking video making rounds on social media, MC Kats has been seen in a heated exchange with an elder lady who is allegedly his mother-in-law, mother to his baby mama Fille Mutoni over the custody of his child.
According to corridor talk , Kats is at loggerheads with his mother-in-law for denying him custody of one of his children. A video was apparently shared on a YouTube channel and it clearly shows the MC in a heated exchange of words with an unidentified lady believed to be Fille’s mother.
"Give me my child. It’s not your child. I used to fear and respect you but I don’t anymore. Give me my child and you’ll see if I will ever cross your path again. You haven’t helped me at all in the last twelve years." MC Kats is heard saying
Kats then throws himself on his knees and vows to drag her to the courts of law if she does not let him have custody of his child. He mentions that if his child is not returned to him then he will involve the law and let them handle this issue because that would mean he has failed to come to agreeable terms with the elderly lady.
“I’m even on my knees asking for my child but if I dare leave this ground, I am going to let the law take its course,” he loudly says.
MC Kats further says he has never asked anyone for help while raising the same child he is being denied and therefore he believes no one should even bother touching that child. He went ahead to state that his mother in law failed to raise her own child well so he could not even bother entrusting his child to her to raise.
“I have never asked you to look after my child. I’ve never and I will never. You do not raise kids well. You even failed to raise your own so you can’t raise my child," he said
