Media personality Kasuku says he believes Vinka can not survive without a record label but Winnie Nwagi can.

There is a video that has been spreading across the media that suggests that musician Winnie Nwagi is in plans of pursuing a solo career, leaving behind Swangz Avenue, the label that has made her who she is.
Swangz Avenue is one record label that has raised many Ugandan musicians and among them is Vinka. This has therefore led to the conversation about who of the two songstresses would stay relevant even without a record label.
According to Kasuku, Nwagi would succeed even without a record label but Vinka would be a struggling wreck. His reason is simple, stating that Vinka was a dancer before joining music and for every musical achievement, she owes it to Swangz Avenue.
"A person who would struggle without a label is Vinka. Vinka, originally, wasn't a singer, she was a dancer. The support of the label made her who she is," Kasuku stated.
He then compared her to Irene Ntale who also was once under Swangz Avenue and has struggled to make any relevant hits since she left.
"Irene Ntale is about the music" but she doesn't understand showbiz, he said.
According to Kasuku, however much Nwagi has no known history of managing a musician but Winnie Nwagi would survive without the label because she has more selling points, including her personality.
