In a video that is making rounds on social media, Afrigo Band team head Moses Matovu is seen lashing out lots of statements to MP Joseph Ssewungu.
Matovu, popularly known as Papa Moi in the musical streets is heard saying that he can't be told what to do because he's an artiste. This happened over the weekend at club obligatto as Afrigo Band relaunched their back in the day weekly night at the hangout.
He further condems Ssewungu and team for always politicizing everything. "We are fed up with you people wanting to politicize everything. It must stop. Some of us are tired!" Matovu yelled at Ssewungu!
This followed a move by the Kalungu East Legislator to move on stage to request for a song from Matovu something that didn't come off well with the band legend.
He requested for space to do his performances his way because he wasn't ready to follow anyone's instructions. He further refused Ssewungu's money that he had offered as a token of appreciation for the performance.
This isn't the first time Ssewungu was inconveniencing Matovu on stage, sometime back while in Canada, Ssewungu together with other opposition leaders stormed the Afrigo stage and sung Bobiwine's song "Tuliyambala Engule".
The sad bit is that the event was sponsored and powered by the NRM chapter in CANADA!
