Last week on Tuesday during a parliamentary sitting, members of the Opposition led by Hon. Mathias Mpuuga stormed out of parliament in protest due to the re-arrest of NUP members Hon. Ssegirinya Muhammad and Hon. Ssewanyana Allan.
The two MPs had just been granted bail for the charges filed against them. Ssegirinya and Ssewanyana were arrested and sent to Kitalya after being suspected to be behind the Masaka murders.
However, both members were re-arrested while they were leaving Kitalya prison and were later confirmed to be in Kireka at the Criminal Investigation center. This sparked off outrage during the parliamentary sitting and opposition members stormed outside.
The following day the demonstration went on and opposition chief whip informed journalists of how the (opposition MPs) will not return to parliament until their colleagues have recieved justice.
Well, the leader of opposition Hon. Mathias Mpuuga has earlier today confirmed that the shadow cabinet plus other opposition leaders will meet tomorrow and discuss on whether to continue with the demonstration or return to pariament.
