Ugandan music enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating a nostalgic blast from the past as the legendary trio, BLU*3, announces their reunion concert after a hiatus of over a decade and a half. Talent Africa Group proudly presents the BLU 3 Reunion Concert set to thrill audiences on June 22nd, 2024, at the spacious Sheraton Kampala Gardens.
This monumental event marks the triumphant return of the original members, Cindy Sanyu, Lillian Mbabazi, and Jackie Chandiru, collectively known as BLU 3, to the stage since their last major concert in 2008. BLU 3's infectious melodies, dynamic performances, and undeniable chemistry captured the hearts of millions, dominating the airwaves and becoming anthems of a generation.

Prior to this concert, the singing trio hosted their fans to a mini pre-concert last year early December at the Naguru Skyz Hotel where they also announced their major concert this year. Although earlier scheduled for Women’s Day, the concert details went silent as the original dates drew closer until this week when official dates were confirmed.
The trio was a Ugandan all-female band formed in April 2004 after winning the TV show Coca Cola Popstars. The name Blu*3 is contrived to mean 3 Beautiful Ladies from Uganda. After winning the contest, they went on to record albums and other singles that thrilled the Ugandan audiences in the early 2000’s until 2008 when they split.
Upon split, with Cindy quitting the group, Mya Baganda joined the group asa replacemnnet recording more songs notable of them being “Where you are” a collaboration with Radio and Weasle in 2009. The group finally disbanded in 2010.
