The house of prayer ministries international senior Pastor Aloysius Bugingo has once again found his name trending all over social media this year after asking his subjects to raise Ugx 70- 100 million so that they can start building his church auditorium famously known as "Pentagon".
Bugingo made the requisition yesterday while leading Sunday service, noting that he wants his people to know it is important to have a house of the Lord.
It has to be put at the back of the mind that Bugingo has been preaching the word of lord for more than 15 years but still doesn’t have a church.

His subjects are hit by sunshine and rainfall while attending his church services and most of them started donating money for the church since they joined him.
Earlier this year, pastor Bugingo dominated the talk on Kampala streets after surviving attempted murder by unknown assailants who killed his bodyguard, Richard Muhumuza.
The gunmen opened fire on Pastor Bugingo's vehicle while he was going home on January 2 along Namungoona area. The attackers later escaped the scene on a motorcycle.
Despite sustaining injuries during the attack, Mr Bugingo managed to drive the vehicle to a nearby hospital, police said.
The pastor’s bodyguard, Richard Muhumuza, succumbed to bullet wounds, according to police.
The motive of the attack is not yet known but Uganda has recently recorded unprecedented gun violence that saw several prominent persons shot dead in Kampala.
When he survived an attempted murder, Pastor Bugingo’s followers and nemesis started complaining about the church money.
They even started demanding for the house known as the Pentagon. He abused some of them calling them dogs and stupid.
However, in yesterday’s Sunday service, Bugingo looked very serious. The highly controversial man of God said if he gets the money needed to build the church, it will be done in a short period.
He didn’t talk about the money that has been collected for years to build the church and what it has been doing for those years.
“We are looking for money worth UGX100 Million to build the church. If we get that money, we will be good to officially start building our dream church,” he said in a video clip seen by this website.
Bugingo's requestion has now generated mixed reactions from netizens with a section crucifying the man of. These say that he should first provide accountability of the money that was earlier collected.
