Singer Jose Chameleone has been on the spotlight after a video of him flogging a boda boda rider made rounds on social media. It has been alleged that the reason why he mercilessly flogged the fella was because he had scratched his new and expensive Range Rover which greatly angered him to the point of flogging a fully grown man.
According to his team, he could not ignore this because aside from ruining his car, the body boda guy went ahead to hurl insults at him and threaten him as well hence Chameleone saw the need to discipline him.
“ Chameleone could have ignored the incident if not for the verbal insults and threats to physical assault that came from the rider. The seen incident was in self defense as the charged Boda boda rider tried to approach him.” His team mentioned.
Events Promoter Bajjo events real name Mukasa Andrew has however come out and asked Jose Chameleone to stop doing stupid stunts because he is already old enough to handle issues differently. Bajjo said that this video was just another stunt of the singer as he tried to get attention from the public to lure them to his upcoming “Gwanga Mujje” concert.
Many Ugandans were however not happy with the act and they begged that Jose Chameleone should be punished for his action. However, according to Bajjo, he still insists that this was a stunt because the Boda Boda guys are the most violent people, and the fact that they let Jose Chameleone beat the guy and move on was questionable in his opinion.
He went ahead and said he grew up with Jose Chameleone and always watched him moving his career on stunts and the fact that he has a concert next month proves he is only seeking for attention because this is how he always does it.
“Jose Chameleon’s video beating up a Boda Boda guy was a real stunt. I grew up seeing Jose Chameleon doing such stunts but I think we are old enough that he should leave that stupidity. Let him sell his show in other ways but not stunts,” Bajjo said
