On 1st/February/2018, the music fraternity and the whole nation was filled with sadness as the news of Mowzey Radio's death reached every corner.
The report showed that the former Radio and Weasel singer had had a fist fight with a bouncer in one of Kampala suburbs' bar and the bouncer threw Radio on the floor, hitting his head. He was rushed to Case hospital where he died from.
This year marked two years since his death and until now, the REAL cause of his death is yet to be determined. Many however have come out to point fingers at one of Uganda's legendary producers turned Musician Magic Washington.
The producer is believed to have instructed the bouncer to beat up Radio, for reasons yet to be confirmed. More allegations stinging Washington are that during Radio's funeral in 2018, he ran away with the late's hard disk.
While appearing on NBS TV's UNCUT show today, Washington clarified on a few issues regarding the Late Radio's case and said whoever is talking about it is doubting the judicial system of Uganda.
"We have had court proceedings about Radio and they are now done. Anyone still doubting is insulting the judicial system of Uganda." Washington said. The producer worked on the duo (Radio and Weasel) on a number of projects including JUICY and DON'T CRY featuring Nigerian sensation Wizkid.
Like they say the truth never rots, one day, maybe one day, the truth behind the death of arguably Uganda's best ever artist will come to light.
