Not so long ago, Social media famous comedian Sammie Manini, who has been for long loved by many because of his famous word ‘rions' became a problem after the LGBTQ saga became very popular. He has since been updating on Twitter about how gayism should never be allowed in this country and how it is a very unacceptable behavior.
When Solomon Kampala, son to Bobi Wine posted that the government should focus on the bad roads, unemployment and poor education systems rather than homosexuality, Sammie was the first to come out to hurl insults at him, saying the LGBTQ matter is very serious and needs immediate attention.
What shocked netizens however was a video of the same social media sensation, Sammie Manini confessing to be gay and working on his male clients in a one-bedroomed house which leaked on social media, starting on Twitter.
The documentary was shot by a German broadcast house, DW which is channel that is known for shooting very serious day to day living conditions of different people. After the leaked video going viral, yesterday, Sammie Manini immediately showed off his child and denied being gay.
He clarified that he was approached by a journalist from DW in 2016, promised money and visa to act all this out, something which he decided to do. He then mentioned that he lives in regret of his decision to shoot as per this agreement
" In 2016, I was approached by this lady Journalist who works with DW TV,a German based TV and requested to act and be recorded in a documentary upon several promises & I was paid to act whatever you saw in the video. She went ahead and voiced it without my knowledge. I regrettably admit that I was paid to be recorded saying whatever I said though it wasn’t real. I only did this for money because of the unfavorable financial conditions I was in at the time… “ Sammie said.
Sammie then went ahead to apologize to all his fans and followers over the homophobic comments he posted online before. He mentioned that such mistakes would never happen again and went ahead to urge youths not to make the same mistake he made all in the name of attaining a visa.
“ I want to request all of you to forgive me about Homophobic statements recently published here & I am going to make sure such mistakes don’t happen again. Lastly I gave up on those illegitimate ways of getting money & I AM NOT GAY, I HAVE NEVER BEEN GAY & I DON’T INTEND TO BE GAY. My advice to anyone out there trying to look for VISAS in an inappropriate manner like I did when I was promised a better life in Germany, Please stay away from it as there is always a regrettable end. However some netizens have trashed Sammie’s story and insists he is a back passer. They have gone ahead to retrieve his 2019 post advertising his massage and happy ending services.
