Famous self proclaimed socialite Bad Black, real name Shanitah Namuyimbwa has come out and revealed the major reasons why the music industry will never be the same without musician turned politician Bobi Wine. Bobi Wine is a musician that turned into a politician but ever since he joined politics, he was forbidden to pursue his music, allegedly for security purposes.
As a musician, he has been singing for more than 20 years although his music career slowed down when he joined active politics. It was partly because he was given legislation and partly because he started putting all his focus on his political career and the presidency of the Country.
It should be recalled that the government stopped him from performing at any events something that affected his music career. Never the less, Bobi Wine kept on releasing a few songs and his power towards the music industry is still evident even when it is not as strong as it was before.
According to Bad Black, there is entirely no music industry without Bobi Wine. She said this is undeniable because even the faded musicians are coming back using his name to get into the industry, hence he should be considered the music industry itself.
Bad Black said even the musicians proposals to government have to have Bobi Wine’s name in them so as to get money, which is why he is a very big influence in the music industry. She also stated that the music industry surely is not vibrant enough without him in it.
“Without Bobi Wine there is no music industry. There is strength in that name because it gives people relevance and it is the password to get money from government. If you don’t include Bobi's name in a proposal it may not be successful. Respect to faded musicians who came back using his name. Your dinning table will soon be filled” Bad Black said
