National Unity Platform (NUP) party General secretary David Lewis Rubongoya has come out to also add his voice to that of the party leader, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu in response to the newly formed political movement by Rt. Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye.
Many NUP members have been verbally attacking Dr. Besigye and his new movement through all channels especially social media, where many accussed the movement of being funded by the ruling government to distort the real struggle.
"Many clips are passing on social media showing that we (NUP) have misunderstandings with other opposition parties and movements. Our soul goal is to remove the dictator irrespective of which party you represent. We can't all be in prison and start fighting each other to see who's going to rot in jail." Said Rubongoya.
